Space to breathe – that’s what Anna and Matt love the most about their new Cypress, three-bedroomed Kellen home.
The young couple have just moved from a rented apartment into their first house together and they are loving the space and light in their new home. They both work from home for part of the week, and they are putting the three bedrooms to good use with his and hers offices!
But it was the spacious and light kitchen that wowed the pair when they first viewed their new home and in fact they decided there and then that this was the house for them.
Matt, 27, works as a Regulatory Consultant and Anna, 25, as a Sales Manager. She explained: “We walked in, and we just knew. We did wonder if it was bad to buy the first house we had seen, but it was so perfect and spacious and just right for us that we knew we were making the right decision.
“The kitchen was amazing, and the windows let in so much light and there’s a big garden. And it is in the perfect spot.”
The couple moved into their home which is close to both their families and have already decorated their ‘offices’ which double as their personal relaxing space, according to their own style. Anna described her room: “My office has touches of pink and a fluffy lampshade with a makeup dresser, but Matt has chosen more a minimal style and has his PlayStation setup for the weekend. It’s great to be able to work separately and meet in the kitchen for lunch”
The pair moved into the home at Vernon Gardens in Royton and found the process of buying their new dream home went like clockwork. And they love the location which is close to Royton town centre and everything they need. Anna said: “We wanted to be close to shops and places to eat but the countryside is also on our doorstep and we are looking forward to enjoying some walks. I’m joining the gym next week because it’s so close – there is no excuse!”
Now the pair are looking forward to their first Christmas in their new home even though it means they will have to cook. Anna said: “There’s a fabulous double oven so we have to cook in our lovely new kitchen.”
