When Bhavana and partner Glenn decided to have a peek inside the Kellen Homes show home at Vernon Gardens in Royton, they had no idea it would lead to them moving into the home of their dreams.
The pair already lived in Royton but wanted something closer to the town centre to take advantage of the short stroll to the shops, restaurant and gym and they loved the idea of a new home that they could make their own.
So, they decided to visit the Vernon Gardens show home in Royton for what Bhavana described as ‘a quick nosey’. There they met Kellen Homes’ sales advisor Karen and were so impressed with the warm welcome and the quality of the homes, that they immediately decided to put their home on the market.

Bhavana, who works in retail in Manchester City Centre explained: “We honestly couldn’t be happier with our new home, and we love having a blank canvas to make the house our own.

Bhavana’s partner Glenn is a personal trainer specialising in outdoor training and the pair love to socialise and enjoy chatting about their days as they prepare their evening meal so the light and spacious kitchen area in their Cypress home was an important selling point.
They also wanted a room for when their son come home from university, and some extra space in case family and friends want to stay so the three bedrooms were ideal.
Now the pair plan to take their time choosing their furniture but they have already settled on a statement dining table for the kitchen – their favourite room in the house.
And they are looking forward to summer. Bhavana said: “We are already talking about our summer BBQs in our lovely south facing garden. We really can’t wait.”
